How to choose your trip to Peru

Peru is a hugely popular adventure travel destination. Most tours focus on Southern Peru (including Lima, Machu Picchu, the Amazon and Lake Titicaca) with a choice of whether or not to include the four day Inca Trail. Tours focusing on the classic or alternative Inca Trails are also available. The north of Peru is more off the beaten track, with the option of historical discovery or magnificent trekking in the Cordillera Blanca and Huayhuash. Trips to Peru can also be combined with other South American highlights, either Along the Andes or across the continent on the Gringo Trail.

Finally, a return to Lima offers a chance to explore the remarkable highlights of Paracas, where you'll take a speedboat ride out to the Ballestas Islands, drive over massive dunes and pay a visit to the mysterious Nasca Lines.
