Join us in Mexico as we explore colonial cities, exotic jungles and traditional villages. From the valleys of Oaxaca to the rainforests of Guatemala and Yucatan, we uncover ancient ruins of lost civilisations. We visit the complex of pyramids, terraces and rock carvings of Monte Alban and discover the ruins of ancient temples deep in the jungles of Palenque. We also explore the Mayan metropolis of Tikal, the Maya-Toltec ruins of Tulum, Chichen Itza and the well preserved murals at Bonampak. Along the way we sail through the vast Sumidero Canyon and explore the colonial town of San Cristobal. We also spend time on the tropical island of Caye Caulker, relaxing on the sandy beaches and snorkelling in the clear waters of the Caribbean coast.

This exciting journey explores the fiery and mysterious land of the Aztecs and the Maya. From the valleys of Oaxaca in Mexico to the jungles of Guatemala, we tour colonial cities, discover ancient sites and search out the perfect locations for some down time. We visit the impressive Mayan sites of Tikal and Palenque, as well as lesser known sites such as Monte Alban, Bonampak and Yaxchila, and the pyramids at Teotihuacan. We also take a boat trip through the impressive Sumidero Canyon and explore the historic city of Antigua.
