from £1499 excl. flights*   On this journey of discovery, we will travel through Ukraine and Moldova including the unique breakaway state of Trans-Dniester and the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, which back in 1986 became the site of one of the most devastating disasters in the history of mankind. Whilst in Ukraine we discover the capital Kiev including travelling to the deepest metro station in the world, Arsenalna. We also spend time in the beautiful cities of Lviv and Odessa, as well as the stunning Carpathian Mountains. En route to Odessa we even get to experience a decommissioned nuclear missile launch site. In Moldova we explore the capital Chisinau and Tiraspol, the capital of Trans-Dniester, which harks back to the days of the USSR. On this first ever recce departure we will be asking you for feedback to help us put together an exciting new trip for 2018 to this region, which has emerged from behind the Iron Curtain, but still isn't on the main tourist trail.
