The Drakensburg Mountains are a spectacular mountain range encompassing eastern Lesotho and across the border in South Africa. Within Lesotho lies the highest mountain in Africa south of Kilimanjaro - Thabana Ntlenyana at 3,482 metres. The summit can be reached with a strenuous and challenging day long trek. For an easier option, the beautiful Hodgson’s Peak lies at 3,257 metres. | |
