Timeless Beauty of the Balkans

12 days       from  £1699 incl. flights*
Tour Map of Timeless Beauty of the Balkans

Winston Churchill once suggested that ‘the Balkans produce more history than they can consume’. The extraordinary historical significance that this implies is fascinatingly evident throughout this lovely itinerary, which takes in myriad highlights of Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Montenegro - culminating in the beautiful Croatian city of Dubrovnik. Remnants of empires past are revealed in Zagreb, Sarajevo and Belgrade, and there is time to explore charming centuries-old monasteries and picturesque medieval towns. Yet the Balkans are also renowned for their wild beauty and our tour invites appreciation of breathtaking landscapes ornamented with dramatic mountains and tranquil lakes.

Adriatic Adventure

10 days       from  £1579 incl. flights*
Tour Map of Adriatic Adventure

We are delighted to introduce this new tour to the northern shores of the Adriatic which are often overlooked yet hold many treasures. Starting with two nights in the must-see city of Venice, with a tour and free time to explore, we follow Italy’s coastline into Slovenia, where we explore the vast Postojna Cave and learn about the country’s very own Robin Hood at Predjama Castle. Continuing into Croatia we experience the undulating Istrian peninsula, including Pula’s spectacular Roman amphitheatre, before heading inland to Zagreb, the young capital with a long history. We balance all this with opportunities to enjoy the local delicacies, tasting wine, beer, olive oil and chocolate on our journey.
