Botswana Green Season Special

9 days            from  £2262 excl. flights*

Fantastic value for money, we've thrown two different parts of the delta into this combination, adding the fantastic game viewing of the Khwai area at Machaba to the beautiful delta scenery of Pom Pom Camp. We've topped it all off with two nights in the Central Kalahari at Wilderness Safaris' Kalahari Plains Camp. It is most commonly held that the best time to visit Botswana is between July and October, however the green season (December through March) should not be overlooked. You might get some rain but photographically and aesthetically, the colours of the Delta are richer during the rains with the lush green growth and dramatic and stormy skies in the background. In addition many grazing animals have their young at this time to take advantage of the abundance of grass and this means more predator activity. Last but certainly not least, during the Green Season you can save up to 40% and take advantage of far fewer visitors.

Highlights - Enjoy the spectacular Okavango Delta scenery from two delta camps
- Small luxury camps - all with swimming pools ideal for relaxing in the heat of the day
- Discover the central Kalahari Game Reserve - prime game-viewing from November to March
- Witness the Zebra migration in the Kalahari from November to December

Tour includes: 8 nights in characterful stylish camps - 8 breakfasts, 8 lunches and 8 dinners - Local Drinks at all camps - All transfers including 4 light aircraft transfers - Conservation and park fees - Shared safari activities with experienced naturalist guides as specified above (Please note some activities are subject to water levels)
