Everest Region

While the summit may be the preserve of only the most experienced mountaineers, the surrounding circuits offer some of the most popular Himalayan routes, including the classic trek to base camp.

The Great Himalaya Trail

The Great Himalaya Trail is the world's longest and highest alpine walking track, spanning most of the length of the Himalayas for 4,500km between Tibet and Pakistan. For the ultimate trekking challenge, nothing beats the 1,700km Nepal portion of the trail, a 5 month traverse of the wildest and most remote environments in the country. World Expeditions were the first company to offer this route on a commercial basis and it's been running each spring since 2011.
